In driving around at night I have found that people no longer turn their front porch light on. This is so unwelcoming. I wonder why this is. Do we really just not want visitors? Or do we really just forget to turn them on? Anyway just a rambling.

sad story. My parents had our porch light on every night for 25 years. And then the day after we moved our old next door neihbors called in tears because for the first time, the Richeys front walk was dark.
